From the start of his career. What an great attitude. Did he complain about not starting. No. He even praised the present QB who turned out to be an obstacle more than a mentor. Even after 3 years of sitting with all that talent, he still never complained. Look at him. Good things happen to good people. Just a matter of time.

Rodgers and Collins have been studs obviously. Murphy looked promising until he got hurt. After that, kind of a “meh” draft

@dcyankee86 Greatest REGULAR SEASON QB ever. He played above average for a long, long time. But he had a watershed wherein he played great below and sucked double donkey dicks above. And it couldn’t have been scripted any better to absolve the Packers by having Favre crash The Purple Hot Rod into the wall on the 240th lap in 2009. It was HIM all along. Just too lazy to worry about the upper end and the work to get there. He had no interest in tutoring because he had no interest training himself.

@prt61370 What makes it more sadder is that Rodgers grew up in Cal and grew up as a 49ers fan. In theory, it sounds like a perfect pair: 49ers and Rodgers.

@luckyranadey775 I’m not glad because I’m a niner fan & I graduated from Cal Berkley(Where Aaron played). ITS NOT FAIR! ITS NOT FUCKIN FAIR!!. Yah I’m whining like a little bitch ass because I have to live with Alex Smith being our QB.

  8. dcyankee86 says:

@packers256 i’m not sure you know the difference between “tutoring” and “watching”. getting tutored was a big reason behind rodgers being so good, but not the tutoring he got from favre, favre openly admitted he wasn’t here to tutor rodgers. the tutoring from coach mccarthy and the offensive staff was the main reason behind rodgers success. did he learn things from favre? sure, but favre didn’t go out of his way to tutor him. big difference.

  11. choua1855 says:

Maybe Favre did tutor Rodgers, but I know one thing for sure that Rodgers didn’t learn from Favre, INTs.

  12. packers256 says:

Favre DID tutor Rodgers…its part of the reason Rodgers is so good. He got to watch the best in the business for a few years before going out to win a Super Bowl himself.

@mmgisme you have a point and i think favre did it on purpose, the more i think about it i think it really benefited aaron. motivated him to work hard

  14. MJBM521 says:

@luckyranadey775 how mad do you think San Fran fans must be? haha love arod

  15. MonsterBobBurns says:

Mentoring is a gift. It shows humility and gratefulness for your own success and leads to being a really great man. Some have the gift and others don’t.

  16. mmgisme says:

Favre arrogant i think NOT! We should be greatful he ever played for the Packers. It’s NOT his job to train his replacement. It’s Rodgers job to learn for himself and He did an awesome job. How blessed are we to have 2 great QBs back to back when a team like the Bears have never had 1 good QB ever. So to all you Favre haters Kiss My Ass!!! Think of Rodgers as the 2nd coming of Greatness….

  18. prt61370 says:

@48HANGER Are you a Packer fan since Favre started his streak?

  19. prt61370 says:

    @luckyranadey775 I’m a niners fan & I gave you a thumbs up.

wow. watching this video while the Lombardi Trophy makes its way back to Green Bay seems surreal. It’s scary to think that this guy just fell to us from the sky because 23 other teams didn’t want him. I’m so happy that this guy is a part of the team that I love most, the Green Bay Packers. Go Pack! Go Rodgers!

  21. sporto10101010 says:

God I wish the Niners drafted Rodgers. Alex Smith has been a complete bust!!!

  22. xrxman01 says:

Hope he plays like this always and remains a Packer his entire career never losing being humble. Packers all the way 2011.
