Ryan and Mr. T get extensions

Coach Rex Ryan and general manager Mike Tannenbaum have earned two-year extensions, the team announced on Friday.  Both are now tied to the Jets for the next five seasons.

In other news, Laveranues Coles will workout with the team today with expectations that the former Jets WR will sign a one year contract for the veteran minimum. The 32 year old could fill the hole left by Santonio Holmes for the first four games of the season, as Holmes will be under suspension.

No Revis Progress. Nothing to report on the Revis situation.

As for Joe McKnight, the RB out of USC… well, he failed is conditioning run and has been placed on the active non-injury list.  Good job, Joe.
