After a run to the AFC Championship game last season, the Jets have extended both head coach Rex Ryan and general manager Mike Tannenbaum, the team announced today. Ryan’s extension is for two years, and Tannenbaum’s is for five years, both running through 2014. Tannenbaum has worked for the Jets since 1997 and was promoted to general manager in 2006.
