Kerry Rhodes made an appearance on Twitter late last night for the first time since the news of him being traded to the Cardinals for draft picks broke.  He started with thanking his true fans:

kerryrhodes: to all my true fans thx for the support! i love u guys and i will never forget u guys! if u ever need me you can always hit me ill respond!!

He then spent quite some time replying to a lot of the fans you had tweeted him all weekend.  He’s still going this morning telling most of the fans thank you personally.  I saw one tweet telling someone not to cry, talking about his new team, and that he’s ready to help the Cards.

He also tweeted about Larry Fitzgerald messing with him:

kerryrhodes: up mad early on the west coast heading to airport to meet the GM, coaches, trainers on my new squad. @Lfitzgerald11 stop prank calling me!!

I think Kerry will still have a ton of Jets fans following him and interacting with him next season and moving forward. Like I said before, we’ll miss having to write frequent stories about him on Jets Twit.
