- Jets Interested in Coles
Anybody interested in a 3.0 version of Laveranues Coles? The Jets apparently are.
With at least one opening in their thin receiving corps, the Jets haven’t ruled out the possibility of re-signing Coles for a third stint with the team, the Daily News has learned.
I know this probably wouldn’t be the most popular move, but it’s worth exploring. Is Coles starting material anymore? I doubt it. Does he need to be to potentially make it worth it? Absolutely not. Coles needs to be able to work the slot, run good routes, and give the team an option over the middle. He could do that.
