Gene Wojciechowski, a senior national columnist with ESPN.com,  makes good on his bet with New York Jets running back Thomas Jones. Wojciechowski wrote an NFL prediction story back in September where he bet Thomas Jones he would not come even close to duplicating his 1312 yard rushing performance of the 2008 season. Looks like Jones made Gene eat his words with his 1402 yard performance in 2009. To his credit, Gene apparently took the bet seriously and has paid up!
