It goes without saying that we here at AFCBeast.com think that the AFC East is the best division in football. Apparently, Jason La Canfora over at NFL.com agrees.

A fan of both the AFC & NFC EAST, for their sheer star power and talent base, La Canfora does a good job of making both divisions sound very formidable.

These divisions are loaded with star power on the field, have some of the game’s best quarterbacks in their prime and feature some of the game’s great minds at the helm (Bill Parcells, Bill Belichick, Andy Reid). Pretty much every team in these divisions has the backing of powerful owners willing to dig deep to invest in a winner, and the advantages these big-market teams derive from their huge corporate and population hubs cannot be ignored, either.

In the end he chose wisely by crowning the AFC East king.

If I had to pick my Beast of the East, preseason version, I’m going to take the AFC East.
