Ex-NFL QB Steve McNair Victm In Murder-Suicide
I am completely flabbergasted by these events. Steve “Air” McNair was superman personified, simply the toughest sumavabitch to ever play the game. I can’t get my head around his tragic end to life.
One of the greatest Super Bowls I ever saw featured a young Steve McNair coming dangerously close to upsetting the “Greatest Show On Turf”.
While the rest of the world knew him as “Air” McNair, my friends and I took to calling him by his real name… Superman.
He was invincible. He was oblivious to pain. He was going to drag you across the finish line all by himself if need be.
He was generous. Known in the Music City for handing out checks, food and other needed products or services to those around him. To the regular folk who needed it most.
He was a hero…on and off the field of football.
He will be missed.
